GRANTS TO TEACHERS, STAFF, AND SCHOLARSHIPS: Provide funding that helps fill in the gaps. Subject to funding availability, the PTSA grants funds to teachers and staff to support their services to students where other school funding is unavailable.

ATHLETIC TRAINING ROOM UPDATES
Athletic Training Room: Fundraising Goal of $20,000. Help us modernize the CKM Athletic Training Room used by all our sports for treating injuries and illnesses. Our goal is to create a welcoming and functional space by updating storage and adding therapeutic exercise equipment. SCIENCE QUAD GARDEN PROJECT
Science Quad Garden: Fundraising Goal of $20,000. As part of the science department’s goals, the staff and students aim to build a garden in the Science Quad that features 12 raised garden beds, decomposed granite walkways, and more seating for students. ROTC QUAD REJUVENATION
ROTC Quad Rejuvenation: Fundraising Goal of $60,000. Help us enhance the large main quad (fondly referred to as the ROTC Quad). As a gathering spot for all students before school, during lunch, and after classes, the quad will benefit from enhanced green spaces, additional seating, and a school mural. OTHER CKM REJUVENATION: Thanks to you, in the last few years we have added shade structures, revitalized blank walls, added seating, and brought the historic, 1937 fountain courtyard back to life as a welcoming location for students to relax and learn. Located near the Library, this beautiful, historic fountain celebrates the art and ideas at the foundation of C.K. McClatchy’s beginnings. We are complementing the historic fountain’s rejuvenation with a nearby Hall of Fame, where we celebrate our notable alumni from 1937 to today. We love our historic campus, but it needs updating to support and care for our students, teachers, and staff!
